Joyful on Linux
It doesn't actually open. When I select it after pressing play, the select window disappears but nothing actually happens.
I only know the absolute most basic things about how to use linux, so are there any beginner-friendly ways to make this work?

Did you open the game properties and choose a different version of proton? Some versions works better for some games, had some issues with Fallout and fallout 2, and testing different versions fixed it. It's been some time since I played on my linux, I made a windows partition on my pc for gaming only, but I remember lisa working just fine, the painful, the joyful, even the fangame the pointless.

I never tweaked with the game from the terminal, but I suppose you could run it using wine, I did that for lisa: the pointless if I remember it correctly, since it's a fangame and not on steam.
