Should I use Buckets?

As the title says, I played through the ten Roulette games, only losing Beastborne [ Blessnern ], recruited Buckets, and was excited by his absurdly high damage output. However, I quickly came to realize his crippling Joy Addiction would be a severe problem, as i'm trying to do a Joyless run. Should I still use Buckets, considering his Joy Withdrawal only lasts about as long as Joyless, One - Armed Brad? Or should I ditch him for Olan, Gooseman, or someone else?

His 50/50 chance attack delivers a decent/good amount of damage even while suffering withdrawal, and it does get passed it pretty easily. I reccomend just putting someone like bo to cure the withdrawal instead of switching him (one of Bo's skills cure all negative effects, and I really mean any single one).
