[Little SPOILER] Which one is better: Selfless and Joyless or Pain mode and Joyless
Yes. I'm going for 100% achievement and I have a save file that saved just before second arm cutting choice. so "Kinda Selfish" doesn't matter(it could be much better if I didn't use joy before.)

But there's other 3 ending achieves left : Joyless, Selfless, and Pain Mode Ending.
I don't wanna finish this game 3 times. so I have to deside which way I will go. help me.

Haven't finished pain mode myself but just did joyless, I'd guess selfless and joyless is easier than doing pain mode joyless.

Mainly due to the fact that using joy on anyone ruins the joyless run, a lot of good damage characters use joy and if they start getting withdrawl in the middle of a fight they're pretty much useless for damage.

Alright best of luck to you, gonna try doing pain mode myself now.

If anyone skilled reads this please correct me if I'm spreading false information.

EDIT: Just finished pain mode + selfless using birdy and mad dog for most of the game, kept somone less important in the party in slot one for pretty much the whole game, only lost 2 people over the whole game (somehow beat russian roulette first try without losing anyone).

Even if you play without using any joy on anyone, the Joyless achievement isn't possible to get on Pain Mode (since the Pain mode Achivement takes priority), so you're definitely better off combining Selfless and Joyless on a normal (non-Pain Mode) runthrough, and then doing a Pain Mode run however.
