Ideal Party Composition?(Pain Mode)
So, currently going through my second playthrough and am doing Pain Mode. Currently my party is Brad/Terry/Nern/Olan but I plan on aquiring Birdie for the gas spit move and late game I plan on aquireing T H E S H O C K L O R D. Now, until I get Birdie, my current party is sufficient. But inbetween Birdie and Shocklord, who would be two other good party members who would complement Birdy and Brad? I was thinking the Magician guy as I heard he does good fire moves(although I accidentally killed him, tiger dude, and the cat dude when I sold the guys TNT on my first playthorugh so IDK if hes good or not). But even if I do use the Magic man, what would be a good 4th memeber? I read on the Wiki that Terry actually stays helpful throughout the game as his power exponentially increases, and that he learns a good fire move at the end. So would a good end-game team be Brad/Birdie/Terry/Shocklord? Any imput would be helpful. Also, what are the downsides to sacrificing useless teammembers during the sacrifice sections? I was thinking about getting my arm removed the first time, then maybe sacrificing some trash characters the second time(IE fardy, poop guy, and maybe the pink ranger) then just giving my healing items the third time. IDk any help or input would be appreciated, thanks.

terrys good move comes too late to really be of much use, the tiger man is just a pretty basic glass canon, and all of his moves are just a stronger version of his first one, cat man can do some pretty good mutliple hit moves but theyre pretty lacking in accuracy, also queen rogers beatdown moves are capable of nuking pretty much anything with or without joy. also flyman is the best character in the game and you should get them if you like breaking it

This discussion has already been there. Most common answer: Birdie + Fire Damage Dealer + whatever fancies you. I went with Mad Dog for a tanky fire damage dealer and Nern for P_i_ssing of and is TP/SP restoring skills.
Terry is something like the Beginner's Hype. Everyone seems to be incredible proud to find out that he can deal a lot of fire damage in the late game. But well, till then he's kinda useless, and afterwards, he's kinda replaceable. Sparing him from the adventures to come spares you a lot of reloads (because he dies prematurely).

for 4th member RT is pretty good, he has good disables and massive fire damage. also can try fly minetti for aoe and terrific debuffs. for joyful run carp is must have.

Brad, Birdie, Nern, Jack
Brad for fire moves, Birdie for oiling up and blinding the enemy, Nern for being a health + TP + SP dispencer, and Jack for fire damage.

I just finished one playthrough with Birdie, Carp and Shocklord.
By the end of the game Carp could deal 7000 damage in his turn while on joy. Birdie just hit the gasoline and Brad uses his fireball. Pretty op party
