Endings? Good? Bad?
I want to get into playing this game, but my main issue is that I'm always extremely worried over what will affect the end game. I always want to get as good of an ending as I can in any story based game like this, but I don't know if this one even HAS a good or bad ending.

As in, is sacrificing party members something that directly influences the endings? Does taking Joy affect anything?

I want to play this through, and I would love some advice.

basically, there's not really a "good" ending
there are certain things you do in game (i think the only one is taking joy if i remember correctly, sacrificing party members doesn't effect the ending) which unlock extra scenes of the ending but with each ending you get overall the same outcome.
although in the dlc, joyful, there are different endings affected by choices.

So really just play how you want to, and it won't matter except for the Joyful DLC? Alright, thank you.

Two things change the ending, one is taking joy and the other one is playing pain mode or not.
To get the full view of what happens in the game, you should see all the endings, though
