Watch Your Back.
If you rest with no one in your party, a note can appear that says "watch your back." But I got that note and I had people in my party. I'm pretty sure the gang in the area already got someone, but the wiki doesn't say this could happen (note: I don't think I freed the guy they took).

Just make sure your back is still attached to your body
