+ Hard Bargain's effect seems to be correct.
[x] Engineer with 15 Repair got -7%
[x] Engineer with 22 Repair gets -10% (capped)
- Its text in the New Ship view is definitely wrong.
[_] When Engineer with 22 Repair is getting -10%, it says "by 15%".
I think the New Ship view's Hard Bargain text blurb generator is using an out-of-date formula, which is different from the formula it's actually using to compute price changes.
Correct about that, fixed!
I have an Engineer with Repair skill 12, which should grant a 6% discount. The "New Ship" panel says that I am getting the full 10%... and while I don't have a calculator, the prices also look as if they have been discounted by 10%.
It's a composite, showing the Engineer... just in case I've got it wrong.
I buy my first ship before it has really become relevant, and by the time it has maxed out, money has become irrelevant, and I have contact that offer better discounts.
Radical, totally radical, my dude.
git gud? :P
