In the Repair box, click the upper-right arrow to open the menu.
From there, you can select any of your ships in Drydock.
(It's not under the Dry Dock menu, it's available from the Repair box.)
[_] Apparently, you cannot queue a repair to be done asynchronously.
When you repair a ship in Drydock, the full repair time passes immediately.
So this won't save you from the 10.4 weeks to repair a Warhammer Hyperwarp Drive
I'm surprised the devs would defeat the point of repairing in drydock by not allowing you to que it up. Sounds like I have to replace, rather than repair, to get around this annoying design issue.
It would be an entire new game mechanic to add queues to repair as well. It's not how normal repairs work.
Might not be worthwhile endeavor considering it's probably already a limited number of players wanting drydock repair.
Think it was only added because people couldn't fly ships if they damaged the claimed ship severely in combat.
But most probably just sell claimed prize ships.
In 400+ hours I've never had the need to repair a 2nd ship. Guess it can happen. But the average player can't come across it regularly.
Adding new mechanics always has to be weighted in terms of how many people will actually use it.
Thanks for the feedback. I am also surprised we missed that, but we're just 2 humans lol. If only we had the memories of the Zendu, I am sure I would have caught it ;)
I have added this to the short list to fix.
I'm not really sure why, but I always read it as 'Tres Brothers', and figured there were at least three of you. :)
For such a small team, you've made such a fun and immersive game. I appreciate the dedication to responding to forums and making improvements. Thanks!
I've seen 50+ week repair times, and I have a fleet of Titans. If I have a nasty battle, it makes sense to hop into a standby ship and let the damaged one be repaired while I'm off fighting xenos.
My crew has better things to do, like getting drunk in the spice hall.
I practically never repair my expensive ships while I wait. It's combat repairs, or on-landing repairs, or exploration repairs, or drydock module replacements.
I'm not waiting four months for repairs.
I thought I could hop in my cargo hauler, but if I can't repair my battleship in dry dock it defeats the purpose of having more than 1 ship.
Ah, gotcha. Sorry I thought you were asking about what the OP was asking about.
It is on our list and I am not sure why it isn't done yet :D Will get it added soon!
