Battle Bridge 2 and 3

Apparently getting it requires taking certain steps to ensure it becomes available from Alta Mesa as the story develops. I'd really like to get this bridge, and don't want to miss the missions required for it...does anybody know what they are or how to find them?

Spoiler: in the event that the Arbiter helps raise up a UCF Fleet, Alta Mesa is at the forefront of that and releases the Battle Bridge 2 & 3.

I completed the Silvaine von Sha Buried Demons quest, the arbiter was replaced and Dissention Era has started. So I'm SOL to get battle bridge 2 and 3, right?

Is this still up to date? I completed the quest supporting UCF and went to a Alta Mesa 10 starport planet but did not see any new battle bridge options. I saw in another post that lvl 8 weapons are supposed to be released but I don't see any new ship weapons either. Am I missing something?

@DarknessOrLight - it is up to date but the discussion above is about a later storyline than I believe you completed. Helping the UCF form is early on, the stuff in the spoiler tags is about storylines in a later Era. Watch out for for Silvaine von Sha in about 10-15 years.

I completed the Silvaine von Sha storyline by helping UCF. There are UCF ships flying around now. But I have't seen any new Alta Mesa components.

1. Battle Bridges are for medium ships only. Not capitals, you won't be able to see them, say, in M9000.
2. There should be a specific cutscene, where you are told that these bridges are available for purchase.

Ah, that explains it, I have a M9000. I still saw lvl 8 weapons mentioned in a previous thread (though it wasn't clear whether it was ship or crew weapons), but I guess those are not available?

No, lvl 8 weapons are absolutely a thing, check their requirements with filters off, if you can't see them. Weapons are universal for every ship afterall.

Alright, a while after finishing the von sha mission, a dialogue popped up unlocking lvl 8 weapons. This was after I did the tri-arc mission, not sure if that had anything to do with it. Thanks for helping clear things up!

Welp, I died 10 mins after, one shotted by a lone sniper in crew combat. Maxed strength, fortitude, lvl 6 armor, but that's that I guess XD

When I ran an explorer/fighter/ecoscout sniper Captain I always maxed quickness and wisdom. Ups dodge and hits hard and often, don't think I've ever taken a hit over 140 and I'm playing on Brutal. Max STR and FOR that's got to be a lot of HP

I don't know what "lvl 6 armor" means. Sounds like you wore light armor.

You really should only wear heavy armor. There's only one niche situation where I'd wear high level stealth armor. Everyone else just wear heavies. No need to think about it.
