Found an Exploit/Cheat
I dunno if i was weirdly lucky or something but basically on the planet you start on it came with a second world that had max richness with half of the danger and i took reroll a wild card with a 12 in explorer. With this i found what i could do was basically farm the planet infinitely with no danger at all because if you exit the planet and dock at the colonized one then go back to the wild one it resets your reroll then to top that off you get infinite explorations on the world although i dont know why exactly if its from the richness or the explorer being at 12 but it allows infinite explorations and then to top that off on the once in a year i get it to max out all i do is dock with the colonized world and go back to the wild one and that has reset to.

On a side note my swordswoman has survived death 7 times on this run.

Feels like i got a broken map.

I doubt it has anything to do with the map.

Your swordsman probably survived due to the game difficulty you set or a high Death Save. You could check those stats in the game.

I don't understand the explanation of the endless exploration bug. Can you give a 1, 2, 3 explanation of what you do including the exact Talent names?

Well its on hard and i didnt mess with any of the settings otherwise i wouldnt get achievements and for the exploration thing all i have is the reroll a wild card. I basically farm it infinitely till i hit a xeno then i reroll it and keep going till i either encounter another xeno or i run out of times i can explore the planet. When that happens i go into orbit and the second planet where the wild planet is i just go into it and heal and come back out and go into the wild one and keep exploring. For the record ive had this go on for like 5 years and ive only run out of explorations once. Im guessing it being a 10 explorer planet is what makes that happen although the luck of it being a 10 rich planet with low danger and to be on the same planet i start on is impressive. I do think you shouldnt get a reset on that reroll a wild card like every single week as long as you exit the planet though. Makes it so you never have to even fight anything.

Still not sure I understand the report, don't know what Talent you are using. Talents don't reset when you leave the planet, they reset based in their cooldown.

On wild zones with high stats, you can explore a lot with few breaks. That isn't a bug.

Its that explorer talent that rerolls a wild card that you start with and it feels a bit cheaty to be able to farm a 10 richness planet infinitely with no breaks. Its basically infinite xp and money especially since i have a smuggler on that planet lol

The talents name is vigilent search and it lets you reroll any card on a wild planet.

Basically if i exit from the left wild planet and enter the right planet the card resets making it so i can skip all battles and farm infinite money and xp although the smugglers just extra weird levels of luck combined with this being my starter planet.

Im guessing its a combo of stuff thats beyond rare? The reroll thing feels broken though.

Ah. It's not a bug. Vigilant Search has a short 3-week cooldown. Every Explore card game (and most ST:F card games, in general) quietly eats about half a week on average:

"The search took 2 days"
"The search took 5 days"

Add all of those days up, plus the occasional round-up by +1 extra day, and it takes only about 5-7 Explore card games to add up to 3 weeks. So if you use your talent to reroll a card, then play the card game another 5-7 times ... that's 3 weeks, and your talent refreshes, and its reroll card pops back into existence. That's entirely normal.

Next time you're exploring, keep track of the date in the top center of the screen. When it counts from yyy.06 to yyy.09, that's 3 weeks elapsed. Hover over it to get the exact day of week, and you can even anticipate exactly when your talents will refresh.

Briefly: Time is Passing, that quickly. Yes, time flies when you're having fun on (or above) a planet.

Yep, Talents just come back up after their cooldown! Glad we got it worked out. Exploration does take a long time. The crew wants to get paid, the galactic simulation moves forward.

With a single Talent, you can't avoid all fight situations. Sometimes, I've seen 3 Xeno cards in the same draw.

Ah okay. After Playing for awhile i can see its not as extreme of an exploit as i thought since costs do seem to even out a bit over time. Now i shall dedicate myself to finding a 1 danger 10 richness 10 explore planet muhahaha. Already found a 3 danger one.

Maybe im just weird since i found it easy. With my main having super high attributes and being a sniper i kill the xenos rather easily to. I do wish i didnt use swordsmen like meat shields though.
