Sword Battlecruiser
I fly one of these as an explorer captain. I love the ship. It’s so big and unwieldy and rugged it is awesome! One slight critique that I have is the fact that it’s called a battle cruiser instead of a battleship. Technically a battle cruiser is a battleship that is stripped down of its armor so I can move faster. But in this game it is in the lowest speed bracket of all of the ships. So shouldn’t it technically be called a battleship?

It's possible there was an even heavier weight class in mind? I'd like to think that the factions retain the very largest warships for themselves.

It arguably makes sense that there are no 'battleships' from a lore standpoint. ST:F's predecessor, the mobile game Star Traders RPG, you could control much larger ships with hundreds of crew, but it took place before the invention of the hyperdrive in the Farfallen Rim quadrant.
Hyperdrives have limitations on the amount of mass they can bring through a hyperwarp gate, and it seems a 9k mass battlecruiser is the highest limit of any hyperdrive invented so far.

Maybe an area where tech advancements throughout eras see new ships and drives over time.
