1. Page 325 states player don't have weapon, but he actually does.

2. Shield that I got for scales is bugged and ads nothing to defence. That really sucks :/

3. Gues what?!! Scale armor - the best armor in game is also bugged! It gives nothing!

4. Page 283 states that left way is going back, and in next line, that going left is another path.

Yeah, there are several bugs I came across in the game while writing my walkthough/achievement guide. Like you said, the scale armor / shield doesn't properly add defense. At a minimum, it won't let you go above 6def (e.g., scale armor + shield) and gets confused by that. There are also a couple of odd cases where it looks like something bad was supposed to happen but there's no actual change to your stats/status.
