PROBLEM with the "Love Reunited/Return a RING to the RIGHTFUL owners achievement"!

I have obtained ALL other achievements (the one about the artwork with the kind help of player "faeriehunter" who replied to my questions), but I can't return the ring to the rightful owners.
I actually don't understand who these owners of this ring are. The parents or somebody else?
I have given the ring to the parents numerous times while playing the story again and again but I didn't get this particular achievement. Am I missing something?!?

You're thinking of the wrong ring. The ring needed for the achievement is from the route where you go to find Gatito the Thief. When you find her you have to retrieve a jewelled ring in order to prevent her from being executed. Later in you journey, after defeating the Cuco Man for the second time, Gatito will confess to having taken the ring from a crypt in Orlandes, after which the Cuco Man kept chasing her. To get the achievement, when you get back to Orlandes you have to accompany Gatito into the mausoleum to return the ring.
