Brick Force is officially dead, sever shutdown date to be announced
From the official Brick Force website:[www.brick-force.com]:

"Greetings Community,

As you might have noticed, no developer-diary has been published. Fact is, sadly: we had to stop the development of Brick-Force. The original developer left us the game in a state that makes it impossible for us to extend or update the game. That means we are not able to apply bugfixes or new content.

At the same time, we must announce that our last active member, WashburneX, will leave the game. Support and sales will no longer happen. We hope we will find a solution for the sales, but for the time being, there won’t be any new sales.

If you have any support-requests, please ask the remaining community-moderators and your co-players. All request we receive that are not payment-related will not be handled.

Regarding the elephant in the room: No, we will not shut down the game yet. We will inform you when the time comes.

Thank you all for your loyalty and the fun we had. We hope we can continue to have more of it for a long time to come.

Thanks for everything and till then!

Cheers!

So yes, it looks like Brick Force is being purged for good. It's actually sort of tragic, the concept for this game was genuinely creative and there was a lot of fun in easily creating maps and playing all sorts of classic FPS game modes in them, but lord... Did they f#$% it up. It was just another one of those cases where you have both crappy negligent developers and a horrible community ruining it on all fronts, and there's not much you can do with that. The whole thing was basically doomed from the start, sadly enough.

Oh well, hopefully there will come a day where some other developer picks up on the "It's like Counter Strike but with Minecraft blocks!" idea and makes something good with it. Until then, I guess we can all mourn for the game Brick Force could have been :/

Sorry I was mean to this game. I was about to give this game some love. I hate it as a Free to play, I never got to play the paid version for a while. R.I.P Brick-Force. I am glad to see an honest guy to have faith in this game. If this game didn't go full on P2W. I would have played the life out of it. R.I.P Brick-Force.

Bad developement killed it.

Let's go to the Voxel FPS graveyard

Brick-Force 2012-2017. For being a five year old game. We saw your death coming fast, but not know when. Turned from a good to bad game in a matter of updates and tried to be a phoenix on Steam. I honestly wished you stayed as a paid game... The community almost forgave you is the worst part.

Ace of spades 5 DEC 2012-2017... A five year old game that died due to Jagex couldn't fix or work their game properly dispute made Runescape work. Including your Classic Spades breatherin outlives you and diverged.

Guncraft. Late 2012 as a free game, but DIED a year 2014. After launch of a paid game.

Murder Miners is slowly dying on pc 2014, but dead now in 2017.

Blockstorm.. The Guncraft players migrated 100% in 2014, LASTING TO 2017....

This is the end of the Voxel First Person Shooter Genre? =(

We need a list of Voxel FPS Gravery Yard list since I am noticing VOXEL FPS games dying left and right.
Noooooo this game was awsome, can you bring the game again pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls ?

Me and a buddy were in the top 5 players (ChrisCross, HunterX, Spaceminer, Survior and a fith i don't remember.) in europe during closed beta, where it was great fun.
We left after the beta.
Could have been fun if the devs and community would have done it right.

Murder Miners is still alright, it's pretty much down to a small circle of the same people you see day after day who consistently come back. I guess you could consider that dead, but it still has lifeblood in it, albeit half a pint.
Its so sad... I liked playing it as a kid...:steamsad:
