You need to have unlocked Hard mode for shaman first.

You Will need save 2000 Mouse to unlock Hardmode

If you want to change your Shaman color you need to unlock Hard Mode, in order to get Hard Mode you need a total of 1000 normal mode saves. After you get the 1000 saves, reload the game and come back. Click on the yellow feather by your icon and change the color.
