New MMORPG? :D

Hey! Thought I'd start off the discussions because, well.. Why not? :D Graphics in this game look nice, and I get "other games" vibes from seeing gameplay.. There's not that many MMORPGs launching these days, so it feels good to see one launching soon, that I'm interested in.. I'll be watching for beta test or early access.. My one hope is that the cash shop is not a nightmare to access.. I like spending a few bucks here and there, and lately I've been seeing some "cash stuff" being overly complicated in certain games.. It's a trend I don't enjoy and usually just end up leaving the game.. Anyway, I think this Glory Destiny MMO has potential to be fun ; can't wait for Q1 2025!

I played this game when it came out in english years ago, it didn't last long and never really had much of a community. It's very grindy, worse at higher levels. There's loads of cash cosmetics and also exp potions and stuff. Very cash heavy and pay to win to be fair.
Personally I enjoyed it and will replay it, never put money into it, it's super cute and I really enjoyed their trophy/achievement system, I tended to stay in an area till full completion before moving to the next one, but that's just the way I used to play it.

could you f2p this game?sure you could play with your party and get good enough gear for pve content, its pretty fun, but on pvp you'll get 1 shot and wont do any damage to whales XD
it have 'gacha' for costume that increase your stat, mount, potion that have cooldown diff with the one you bought from npc is a thing as well so double heal if you bought the im one, and enchantment materials as well, with this on steam it should be not hard to topup

exp isnt the problem, but getting better equipment is pain in the a**, dungeon access has limit with abysmall drop rate for pve equipment, and worse rate for the mats for the best equipments for your level, its mmo so yea buy gold on sellers and sweep mats on the auction usually is the way(or be patient and do dungeon everyday)

theres world boss as well, and bunch of pvp events in game, but there would be timezone problem as these events is time limited

oh and the gameplay loop is they will limit level cap say 40>you spend money and got the best gear and reinforce it>after few month they unlock new map and lv cap is 50 now your gear is obsolete>you spend money and got the best gear and reinforce it>repeat

and most likely it'll be grave in 3-6 month like usual

Its reborn version - if they get heavy P2W they will die like previous versions of the game. Its not 2009 to create full p2w games :) people are not so new in games and not so stupid.

Gameplay is very good im my opinion, i liked combat and dungeons. I remember there was guild quest where u were able to farm coins and buy a lot of cosmetics for free ;) we will se when they release the game. If u are not tryhard - play with friends and have fun

finally this game i been waiting for. it over 12 years since glory destiny online close down its server. i definitely will want to play back and i really hope can find back our S1 player and guild . i am from Eternity Guild , always Vs Sakura Guild . my ign before was TooSian4You . i played the initial US release of this under the name of Spirit Tales, well over a decade ago. I remember pretty vividly they did a massive sale in the in game shop then pulled the rug from under the players and shut down the server a day or two later.
