RC racing is a very niche activity, with perhaps fewer than 200,000 active racers world-wide. With such a small and focused hobby, it takes a great deal of dedication to make any of it work (at all). There are often fewer than 100 active racers on VRC Pro.
What VRC needed to do was develop a subscription model with licensing support from the bigger manufacturers. The subscriptions would probably have to be pretty steep, perhaps as much as $100 a month for basic access, or a micro-transaction fee for every virtual practice or race session. I'm not sure it would be financially viable.
It was a good idea, though perhaps a little too ambitious. I purchased it to support the concept. Maybe someone will pick up what is left and move it forward.
we need mod support and this game would take of if they just did it similar to how MX bikes does it. the game would be amazing but what do i know its probably quite hard to do that? I also want to see a graphics revamp it would make the game much more enjoyable!
