Not only are they wrong on this (Blaze Rush shows how great VR can be at around this scale), they also might not even take all considerations into account. What about supersampling e.g.?
We all know VR isn't fully fledged out yet. But it's 100x better than a PC monitor. RC games would be perfect for this and there are some other RC trainers out there already.
Lastly they could've just released it as a beta channel and have a warning pop up that it's under development and may not result in the best experience.
Us VR people certainly know how to live with some limitations - but the sense of scale is just breathtaking.
This is utter nonsense. If they really said this then I feel like they didnt really bother even trying and just came up with some excuse.
The sides of the lens are blurry?! ... Seriously? ... MOVE YOUR HEAD .. you're not supposed to be looking through the sides of the bloody lens .. jesus christ!
