Missing Wallet Upgrade

I just finished up the game and I'm sitting at 100% progress. Finished all the optional quests and got all the achivements except Moneybags. My wallet holds 550 fruit right now, but I saw someone say theirs holds 600. I must have missed an upgrade somewhere, but I'm totally stumped. My achievement progress is at 90%, but I already did all of the quests and found all the chests. Is it possible to not pick something up by mistake and have it disappear?

I've just gone around the entire map like twice looking for the last couple scarabs and I've spoken to everybody I can.

There's one at the end of a semi-hidden path next to the tower leading up to Makumana Village that you can access by using the grappling ability.

If you're talking about the path at Tall Totem Tower that goes straight up next to the juicer place with the grappling and the warp circles(?) I think I've gone up there several times.

How about the island to the far left? I think there's one under it or something. Those are the only ones I can think of that are not connected to NPCs or chests.

I was stuck in exactly the same position but I found it. After collecting the 8 tadpoles you have to throw them in the Tadpole Spawning Pool (towards the right of the map) - Myrtle then appears to give you a wallet upgrade!!

Ya I found that out eventually. I totally forgot there was something to collect there.
