I mean depends on if you started with steam's release or not, hitting 60 from steam's date seems highly unlikely.

Finishing chapter 8 took like maybe 3 days or so, Genshin volume gameplay this is not, think I eventually ended up lagging behind in Genshin given the story portions could easily take entire weekends on top of the daily grinds. But yea, finishing chapter 8 game becomes just farming dailies til the next thing of note. There are technically stuff to run past that but they pretty much have 0 story and some of it have to be manually run only because the AI isn't set up for it.
That's why you never rush on a live-service game otherwise you WILL reach this point with every update they give. I'm just about reaching level 60 and I still got 3 chapters to do.

I was disappointed at how much things slowed down at around level 35. But this is a F2P game looking to get you to spend money on their packs so that's to be expected. Once you hit level 43, some of the supply missions open up to all the way to level 60 and combat simulations let you go as far as you can. So I've been having fun blowing stuff up 10-15 levels above me now.
The game hands out Access Keys like candy. If you played since standalone it was even easier to level up and do content.
The leveling slows down for sure but 30 is when you unlock like all the stuff like boss fight, horde invasion, etc.
I agree that it seems to slow down around 30, but at the same time, a ton of other content begins opening up. Incidentally, you can easily fumble around with Autobattle for most of the content up until about 30. After that you need use your brain a little bit and start putting in some input. You also need to put in the effort of strengthening the characters with Levels, Weapon Levels, Attachments, Helix nodes, Affinity, Fortifications, and Calibrations. If you don't know what all of those are, that means you haven't really been playing the game.

You are wrong about there being nothing to do. I don't believe you even cleared the Main Story line, otherwise your level would be higher. If you've run out of pulls, Collapse Points, Access Keys, and you are constantly out of Intelligence Puzzles, that means you have played woefully inefficient in a short amount of time.

Not to mention there are near-constant ongoing events that give a ton of free stuff just for participating. I am personally not a huge fan of the minigames, but I see they are trying hard to step it up from the minigames they had in GFL1 and sometimes it's nice to try something different from the core game loop.

At the end of the day, it's a grindy gacha game not completely different in progression from GFL1. If you don't like that, then the game is just not for you.
but easily you can max your Commander's level :happy_yeti:
then you start working on your Dolls
