"Unknown error occurred during decompression" Error Prompt

Mica Team, can you guys fix PC client please. I already wasted 2gb of data because it keep redownloading the patch when error occurred (30mb patch). Tried vpn, nothing. Tried shut down defender, nothing. We know this error keep appears from the first time you guys releasing PC client.

I love your games, i play GFL 1 to this day, and i play Exillium on my phone. I just want to play in PC cuz my hand is big and keep touching phone's edges screen while playing. I dont want to re-install and re-download 35gb files again. And i'm sure this error will happen again and again.

it seems that your hard drive might have some issues. do try and run a check up and/or you have issues with internet (in case you use a WiFi).

I don't have any such issue when I had to download their new patch on my laptop

p.s. If for some reason you can't fix it, try to log into GF2 Discord and ask them there and/or contact the client support (it is the headphones on your left of your game screen, it shows up even if you get the fail download)

If my ssd had problem, all of my games would be affected, and yet it's not. Only this game got this problem. I also tried using wifi and mobile data to no avail. If you go to Exillium reddit page, you will see dozens of same problem like me. Some were able to fix it by using vpn, some couldn't.

As last resort, i might delete game folder and redownload whole dang data.
