I'm 38 rn and at least 2 of the 5 teams are always called "simulation objects" that are always under-leveled/very low combat rating relative to what I'm running. So I've always thought these were just NPC teams to allow folks trying to get their dailies to do so without getting clapped by some whale's souped up team of golden dolls.
I'm not a rabid min-maxer, but I do like to optimize, so I've been using Combat exercises to get a feel-for what best practices are (other than running Suomi) and get a feel for where my team is at without having to look up guides. I'm starting to get tired of having to use up all my lineup re-rolls because of this practice. No h8 though, I'm just being inconvenienced here at worst.
Will I just have to bite the bullet and join a clan to actually do the noted without just looking up build guides?
Once you hit Adept V you unlock Military Sim which should more than easily scratch your itch for testing your squad. Here you get 5 combat chances every 8 hours and winning and losing actually matters so it does take some time since you probably won't be able to auto an uneven match.
