GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM

GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM

I'm out.
Upon release, I played this game on a guest account with its official client separate from Steam. And decided, I'll uninstall the official client and play again on a "fresh account" when the steam version is released. There is no Steam login, and when I booted the Steam client. It automatically logged me onto my previous guest account. I'm out, too sus for me.

And the problem is what exactly? Why would steam version have it's own account? Lmao, you did this to yourself and mad over nothing in all honesty.

the reason why your guest account is still there, the game doesn't delete all your data files located i'm assuming somewhere in your appdata folder because in the event you do have to reinstall the game for any reason and have a unbinded guest account that account would irrecoverable with no way to get it back. if you want to do a fresh guest account go onto your current one bind it to a burner email address then logout and click guest login again it will create a new guest account however i wouldn't recommend keeping the guest account you want to use unbinded incase you lose it forever and all the progress.

honestly having the game NOT using a dedicated steam user account is a plus to me that means i can log into my account on any version of the game, i personally i hate when games have that for their steam release and cant see much of a benefit to have it.
Looks like someone is new to Gacha games considering this is not exclusive to GFL2.

I mean it's only sus if you don't understand how software works. You can put saves wherever you want, and sometimes games will draw from the save location regardless of what version you're playing on.
