I'd buy it but I'd need to know that this time it wasnt such a shamless console port with the poor controls and they expanded upon what the villages could do (roads farms etc) not quite black and white since the player would have no real control over it but more then a mess of huts

I have been playing from dust since its realese and I really liked this verson , I really would love to play a newest version of this game , like the second verson . So if there were a second version i would buy it for sure!

If they could get a multiplayer they'd have to "borrow" the influence idea from the Black and White games, so that you cant just dump some lava on your enemies villages. I'd also like to see more advanced building and planning, I love the style of the buildings but i'd like to plan it out in the same way as Black and White 2. One feature that they must implicate is steam workshop so we can make levels and post them for people to play :3

Would be awesome! I'd like to see Multiplayer as well, and also maybe a "free" / Sandbox world.

Yeah, it was a bit of a wanky PC port. What I'd like most to see is steam workshop integration and custom scenario/puzzle support.

Here's my list of things I want to see.
- More variety is the environment. I want the ability to create a swamp, savanna, tundra and other biomes.
- If you build mountains tall enough you'll get snow on top, which in turn melts and creates a steady flow for a river.
-With plants right now it's just palm trees and stuff. I want pine trees, scrubs, maple trees so you can make it really diverse.
-Rock formations that are more complex. Such as the ability to make rock arches like those you find the the U.S. southwest badlands. You could make a rock bridge over a river so you don't have to obstruct the flow of the river.
-There is sand and rock bascially but I want soil, AKA dirt.

Finally add a true sandbox mode. The last level of From Dust is a sandbox mode, but I want a sandbox mode seperate from the main story line. Make the sandbox map bigger! I want to create large diverse worlds!

Omg, just imagine what you could do with a world builder O___O I wish they'd do that. I LOVE From Dust, it's so amazing, I wish/hope they really do make a second.

Somewhere on the box where the person commented, top right, you'll see an arrow, click on that, and that's how you quote someone. =)

I really like this first game even though it was a poor console to PC port. I would purchase a sequel.

The best answer to what I'd like out of a sequel is : "More".

More of everything and anything, pretty much. This game was fun, but it was so shallow that I can't be bothered to play it anymore after having beat it.
