Game crashes seconds after I launch it
Hello. I bought Driver a while ago and haven't been able to play it once. The game just crashes straight after I launch it and all I get is "Windows is looking for a solution to the problem" or something like that. I've uninstalled it, redownloaded it and then installed it and it still doesn't work. What's going on? Can anybody help?

Did you happen to have a gamepad plugged in while starting it up?

Kind of. I've got a PS3 controller plugged in with Motion In Joy program to make it work.

That might be your problem. I know that my Driver: SF crashes every time my PS3 controller is plugged in, even when I have it pretending to be an Xbox360 controller via motioninjoy. Oddly enough I have a Nyko brand PS3 controller that seems to work just fine.

i have a faild to contact key server on mine ,ive have the game for a while now and had no problems since this morning

Yeah, that's an entirely different issue. I'm currently experiencing it as well.

Had the exact same problem before. The only way to fix is get a moniter with a better resolution. I had a 4:3 before and upgrade to a 16:9 and it works fine. It's just the resolution.

its not a monitor issue. i have had the same problem - bought the game months ago and ever since the latest patch it crashes before loading up

select driver sf - right click - properties - local files - check file cache
make sure your controllers dont get dissconected/connected on startup as this might cause game crash

NOTE! this game works perfect whit xbox360 controller or ps3 whit xboxEmu. well as long as the EMU works as it should:)

My game instantly crashes once its started right after Uplay shows up on windows 8 x64. I dont have any gamepad plugged. config is i7 920 @ 4GHz - 8GB - HD7970 so obviously no issue. I checked files integrity in steam as well. Any ideas ? :(

I'm not so sure, tried on my laptop as well (7 x64) and it doesn't even launches Uplay...
Also I googled and saw people having the same type of bugs on 32 bits versions on windows so i really don't know lol
