Manual?

Is there a manual for this game? I don't see it on Steam.

While there is no full manual for Star Traders 4X Empires, there is a Library built into the game that gives you quite a bit of information and there are very informative videos out on YouTube, at the very least that you can view to get additional information on playing the game.

Finally, there are the forums. Everyone will be willing to help you in the forums if you cannot seem to find assistance anywhere else. plus, the devs communicate with the fans daily on the forums.

@davanden, I hope that this has helped answer your question. Not that I like to shamelessly plug, but I have recently started a Let's Play series on this particualr game. You can find it on YouTube. There is a Primer video to give you generalized information, and then during the series, we will discuss different tactics and strategies to help you advance in the game.

Edit: @davanden I now have the aforementioned Primer and first two iLP Episodes available on my profile as it didn't put them on the Games community Videos portion for some odd reason. So, I made them publicly available.

New videos will be added daily (maybe off on weekends)

Yeah it looks like they reorganized their website at some point. But if it's any consolation, I remember realizing the guide in the game is actually way more comprehensive than what they used to have on their website, I just forgot to ever come back in this thread and say anything lol

There's a couple of decent guides out there though and the Trese Bros still have a forum for the game.

And yeah me too, despite having played a ton of 4X games, this game does some things different that still put it way high up on my list for me here in 2023, and it's based in the Star Traders universe!

yes, it was me, that wrote that guide on steam.
and ye, i like that there is very little hand holding, and despite being very advanced in a game, you can still lose to any number of issues.
