Also the fact that you can only talk to 1 person while dead proves to be an added challenge for the medium as you'll have to pick someone who's not mafia/SK.
Yeah, I kind of like the idea of being able to appear during the discussion of a trial or something once. After that it's gone.... but keep in mind it could throw balance way off when it comes from your mouth and people know 110% who is what. The seance adds another strategic llayer to the game. I've had a game where a medium seanced a player. The player told everyone about it but was quickly turned on because he wasn't trustworthy enough in their eyes.
For example, How about, as dead, we can gather information, same as invest or sheriff, only Once, after we die as ghosts?. Then we can talk to the medium about it. Mafia can choose to lie, since dead mafia still win if mafia wins.
This, as long as dead people don't leave the medium is a very useful role.
There is no use in talking to other death people, because they only can give you the same information you already have for yourself if you did pay enough attetion to the game. If a medium really helped you out, it's only because you were brain afk.
