How do you win as jester?! (Warning Rant)

Every. Damn. Game. As jester i claim lookout and try to get some random person lynched, And i do it where i'm obviously wrong if you take 2 seconds to think about it! And guess what? I'm always believed no matter what outlandish thing i claim. I'm serious here!

D1: Me: Martha Visited boooiiii everyone! (i'm exe) (booiii left game)
Town: He's probably EXE don't lynch martha

D2: Martha get's killed by mafia (i turn to jester) (martha IS MEDIUM) Me: Goddess visited martha last night! (town lynches goddess, She's SK) And i die by mafia at night.

Different game:
D4: Me: totally not sk (all town investis dead no rando town) visited generic name last night!
Town: Role Vegan Mayo? Me: Lookout! (Town lynches totally not sk who turns out to be mafioso, And then SK kills me)

That's just some games i remember. I've never won as jester. EVER. Because whenever i claim something impossible town always believes me and it's stupid. These are custom games by the way! So from now on i'm just going to beg to be lynched. Because screw advanced tactics because townies are too stupid for them. /rant over

To me, a good way to win as jester is just stay quiet. Eventually, someone'll say something about you being quiet. Keep quiet until your on trial, then start saying your innocent. Town will hopefully not believe you, and lynch you. The tough part of it all is just staying alive.

I've only been able to pull this off a couple of times because I end up dying around like N2 or N3.

Also, it seems like you just have some bad luck and end up getting an evil role killed by conicednce...

We've had different experineces then. I've only been in a couple of games where quite is a concern. In fact i was in a game once where anyone who talked in chat was lynched.. I was town and i asked if anyone had leads and i was lynched.

I'm not sure if the town was just dumb or I was onto something. You gotta let them think. Say something the sounds reasonable but has a flaw in it that someone paying attention would see. They will annouce it, and you might get lynched.

The easiest wasy is to stay quiet. If maf or sk doesn't kill you eventually.you will get lynched for being to quiet.
Another way is to be less obvious. And don't blame anyone within the first 3rounds. Too obgvious.

I played ranked. And actually managed to win as jester. It was the weirdest thing ever. I saw my role was jester and my heart sank.. Then i begged to get killed (not lynched) And i told everyone i was jester. The entire game. I was never attacked, jailed, Or shot. Then the person we later learned to be the executioner said let's lynch the jester and give him a win. I was lynched and i haunted his target. He tricked people into voting guilty asking me to haunt him when at last minute he abstained. Then he was voted off and another jester won. THEN THE AMNESIAC TURNED INTO A JESTER. And he got lynched.. Also plot twist the "any" was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jester too. And he got lynched the next day.

D5: Amnesiac turned jester gets lynched (he wins)

Stay quiet and when you go to the stand type "I am Blackmailed" but mispell it in some way. It will make you look like a mafia trying to avoid lynching.

When you mean D1 do you mean the day after you pick your name? cause if so, never say that on that day.

The accuse someone of being bad tactic as Jester is not always the best tactic to keep leaning on. I've had many occasions where I actually accused bad people and got them lynched, or they didn't get lynched but they kill me. As noted by others above your biggest threat is being killed.

There are many other ways of making yourself seem guilty.

Suspiciously whisper to someone else allows for possible spies to call you out.
Also, if you word things correctly and you whispered to town they will be suspicious of you. Especially if you whisper to to certain people who are already whispering. Likely more than anything whisperers tend to be Town Investigatives.

Alternately it could be the mafia reaching out to a witch.

However if you do start falsely accusing people, the tone of how one type help to make people consider whether you are being truthful.

Try to be calm yet assuring of your accusation. They will most likely think "Ok this guy/gal isn't in a hurry to lynch anyone so he just might be an investigative"

If it does turn out wrong as planned, try to persuade the town that something fishy may have happened like a frame job or a transporter swap. Try to show your knowledgable of the job you claim but at the same time your going to want to be extremely vague about the situation to keep suspicion drawn onto you.

If all else fails after a few days start bursting out in hysteria that you know someone must be bad.

If you are in classic. The best thing to possibly do is call an already dead role after someone asks to role call. You are more likely to get lynched then, because they think you are doing an awful job at hiding that you are Mafia and or possibly a Serial Killer.
