Stuck on "Loading homepage..."

Whenever I launch the game via Steam and try to log in, the account gets verified and all that, but then it just gets stuck on "Loading homepage..." Anyone know how to fix it?

I've also noticed a distinct lack of music.

I've been able to log in via a regular browser, not through Steam, but I much prefer Steam to the browser version. Could this be because of the new patch, or just a bad install?

Semms like it works in browser. Just doesn't work on steam now. I had never owned adobe air, just adobe reader 11. I installed it in case, but no change.

Hmm, ok. Upon trying to fix my game, I tried to verify the game cache (link to directions somewhere in this discussion), uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game, and completely restarted Steam. If none of those work, then I don't really know what to tell you. Do you hear any music on the login page for the Steam client? If you don't, then it won't work. At least, that's what happened with me.

If you haven't tried them already, the normal fixes for Steam are: verifying your game cache, reinstalling/updating Adobe Air, and reinstalling the game/updating the game.

i am having this problem too
i restarted my web browser(i don't have the steam version)
i deleted my caches
i refreshed the browser

oh wait nvm it just somehow fixed it self

Make sure you have a working audio device. I get the "loading homepage" error if I don't have speakers plugged in.
