Just to make sure, the ToS username will appear in the game settings by my profile? That is the username I tried on the account deletion link, kept saying username invalid.

Just as a bit of a headsup: Deletion is permanent, and if you have ever had a suspension or ban on your account, you will not be able to ever make a new account that is linked to your current Steam account, you will have to repurchase the game from a different Steam account or buy web premium. A lot of people don't seem to realize this, so I figured I'd add it as a disclaimer.

Just wanted to say dealing with Town of Salem support via email is one infuriating process. It feels as if I am talking to a bot.
I requested my account to be deleted, the support team responded by sending me the link to the online deletion.
I then explained why I cannot do the online deletion, a week later the support team responded by telling me - exact words
''Hey Townie!
I don't show that account as existing. That might be why you are running into this.''
Is there someone on Steam that can assist me?

Also just do double check I am not going crazy - when I boot up ToS, there is a menu that requires you to fill in your details to sign in, just below it it says sign in with Steam. That is the option I am using.
Lastly, when I click on the settings - my username is displayed as starkiller19911 - used to be my old steam name.
What happens when you go to blankmediagames.com and then "forums", "log in", "forgot password"?
I tried the forgot password option - the error I am now getting ''
