Can I login with my steam account from the browser?

So I didn't know town of salem was a browser game. I discovered it on steam, i'm quite addicted to it and i wanted to play from browser with my steam account. Is that possible?

Why would you play it in the browser version instead of the steam version? It has only down sides to it.

becuz I can't install steam on the PC i wanna use it from.

It's possible, I do it when I'm on computers that don't have the game installed

The website has no login with steam option. I believe there is a connect with facebook option.. however you would need to be logged into facebook first before you could use that.

Previously I have read that there are problems when you connect an account to both steam and facebook, but I dont know if those have been resolved or not.

I can confirm the first paragraf of your comment ZeroDivide, but apparently DJ says he does it without issues. My question is how does he do it when there's no steam button on the website?
And if with steam credentials, does that mean ToS own my steam password on a probably much less secure storage than valve?

Oh, I mean log into the webstite with your Town of Salem credentials. If those are the same as your Steam credentials, THEN you should have no problem.

Well, you can't play it on the browser using your Steam account. You can however use the same account that you use on Steam to play on the browser if that makes sense. You. You just need to know the password and username you use for the game on Steam. Any achievements, points, or games played will be recorded for both.

Well, I didn't have a ToS account before having the game on steam, and I signed up with the Steam button, so I don't even know what my account credentials are lol

Well your username is the name at the top right when you log in. If you forgot your password you can reset, then change it using these links.

It's not that i forgot my password, is that I never provided one. When I created my account it was through the steam button, which logs you in automatically.

I guess that means it's using my steam account credentials, in which case I'm gonna change it cuz I don't want my steam password on ToS database lol.

.........................not how it's supposed to work, I remember specifically the game asking me to create a ToS account.
