Investigator results

Hello.
I played game where i was investigator and 2 players were witches.
I investigated both of them and it told me they have weapons or something so they're Veteran / Mafioso / Vigilante.
Again.. They were witches.
There were only 2 witches, 2 mafia people, one something and me alive.
How is possible that i got bad results ?

Transporter could have move the targets.

They might have witched you, or you might've accidentally clicked the vig/vet/mafioso.

Only 2 possibilities are transporter, or the witch itself, (IE if a witch controls you, it will give you a message saying that you were controlled by a witch, and then you will visit the witches target").

If one or both witches knew who the vet was, they would have good reason to send a known TI to visit him (on the hopes that the vet is alert, and thus accidentally kills the investigator).

I believe there are also glitches with the witch message, IE it doesn't always show up (I think in particular if an escort attempts to roleblock the witch at the same time, the message tends to not be recieved).

I clicked on player that was witch.. I'm 100% sure.
Is it possible for witch to witch me so i will invest another player ?

I was witched almost every round but i didnt find anything about changing my target on wiki. I found that the witched player will kill someone, not perform an action on target.

The witch CAN make you investigate another player.

The witched player will perform their night ability on whoever the witch makes them visit.

The witch has two targets-one who will be cotrolled, and the other will be the controlled person's target.

I don't see where the ToS wiki says that. You sure you got the right page and right website?

Yes, if the witch choses the investigator for target 1, and the vet for target 2,
what the investigator picks becomes irrelevant, as the witches order overides his choice

The investigator should get the messages
"you feel a mystical force controlling you, you have been dominated by a witch"
"Your target owns weapons, he could be a vigilantee, a veteran, or a mafioso"


That is how it should work, there are indeed glitches that could cause the first of the 2 messages not to appear, usually in the case of the witch getting roleblocked (witches cannot be roleblocked, but sometimes the message gets stopped by the roleblock, when the action does not)
