2. They will still kill their target even if role blocked while cautious.
3. If they aren't cautious, they will still kill their target as well as escort that role blocked them.

Point 3 is incorrect. The correct answer is:
Regardless of the Serial Killer using the Cautious Ability or not, the Serial Killer will still kill their intended target. Only the Jailor and the Pirate can prevent the Serial Killer from killing their target.
The Cautious Ability just makes it so the Serial Killer won't attack their roleblockers (including Jailor & Pirate) when activated.
