1) Jailor is a 100% safe confirm at any time, as it's a unique role and if someone else tries to say they're jailor, you just jail and execute them.
2) As such, jailor claims D1 and asks for visiting roles to go on them.
3) TP protects jailor from death N1. Mafia attacks someone else for obvious reasons.
4) Lookout confirms all town protects/invests/visiting supports D2.
5) Town now has more confirmed townies than the number of mafia members in the game and wins by process of elimination.
The roles that can spoil this are the "harmless" mafia roles such as forger/framer putting doubt into the lookout's N1 results. Or mafia could get lucky and hit the lookout. But even in these situations, town can still be assured if there's a spy or second lookout.
It's ranked. It's where you go to play the game at it's most hardcore, so this should be totally allowed. If the people playing ranked want to ruin the hidden role aspect of gameplay, then they can go ahead, because clearly, that's how they like to have fun with it, I guess.
If that's not how you like to play the game, then don't play ranked. That's why I don't, because those people can't relax when playing and I don't personally jive with that energy.
It's all about what you find is fun in the game, and clearly you like the hidden roles and higher maf win rate, so come join us for the more lax gameplay in standard.
