How is this role not over powered, people dont know they are infected??? Thats like if people couldnt know they were doused also due to pb turning into pest late game there is mostly little time to even find out who is pb if you are ever gonna find it

But people *don't* know they're doused either. Also, PB takes a long time to turn into Pest, so if by that time someone didn't already kill him or find out about him, then town is dumb and Pest deserves a chance to win. Even then, random lynching based on some basic idea of the remaining roles usually gets rid of him the same day he turns into Pest.

It's definitely not overpowered.

Invest can see if people are doused and how can town be dumb for not finding him when there are literaly no clues that he could be there

Invest can only see doused people as BG, GF, Arso, that's not a conclusive proof that someone is doused, and it may be days before an invest can deduce that there's an arso around, if he doesn't get killed in the meantime. And same as Arso, Invest can find Pest.

Also, Pestilence is unique, while Arso isn't.

It's supposed to be a powerful role, but you only get one pest in any given match they appear in. You can have 5 Arsos in a game, and that was indeed fun when it happened, but pest can't achieve anywhere near as much chaos as 2 arsos can.

plaguebearer has to infect people. so no they should never know they're infected. that would ruin plaguebearer. as for arsonist it takes a bit to setup as well. even better if there are more because you see the fun that can bring.

pb is like a "slow arso". he got to "douse" (infect) everyone before he can kill.

with that its very easy to find the pb, be it ti finding him or a evil hitting his defence

In most of the PB games I've played they turn into pest and then get hung the next day. Plus, getting multiple infections a day can be difficult due to some roles not visiting, or killing their target.

Yup! Though if you somehow manage to survive that day, usually it's a win for the PB because by the time everyone gets infected, there's not many people left.

I think PB should go through a doctors defense. I lost a couple of games as PB because of 2 doctors healing each other. And i mean, if you do manage to turn into Pest, you deserve a chance lol.
