Fake Lookout Will
According to Skimm and the game's wiki, a fake Lookout will that is convincing is much easier to make than a fake Investigator will.

I don't buy it.

If you can make up a night with 3 visitors and get it right, you're pretty much trusted the whole game. I managed to do this once as a Witch when an Investigator looked at me (mostly by making stuff up, getting an Investigator, Framer, and Doctor going to the same guy). At this point, it seemed pretty much flawless. I whispered to a Serial Killer who the Jailor was after witching him and a trusted Spy who bugged the SK was written off as a Blackmailer, no longer trusted. He wasn't trusted when he bugged a Medium I witched and I said, oh there was no visitors. And when he bugged me and found out an escort tried to roleblock me but I still had a fake night of being a Lookout, no one questioned me. When he died, people assumed his will was forged. Only problem... how do you guess someone who gets 3 visitors, and get the actual people right?

More conservativly, one could try to predict where Investigators might go and pretend to see them some nights while having other nights see people with no visits. I've had about a 30% success rate of this, since figuring out where someone goes before their annoucnement is not the easiest thing in the world. And even when succesful, you really only gain the trust of that one guy, rpobably since the two of you could be a mafia pair trying to cover each other's holes.

The laziest fake Lookout will is to simply figure out people that no one is going to get any visits and then fill your fake will with "NV." The obvious problem with that is that a will full of NV looks completly fake. If you have 4 nights of NV by day 5 or even day 6 (unless you managed to get one night with 3 visistors), then you will probably be called out and hanged. Heck, even as real Lookout I've been hanged for this very reason. It helps if some Escort roleblocks you, but you can't count on that.

I can see a convincing fake Lookout will doable, but I don't see it easier than trying to cobble together a fake Investigator will by guessing people's roles.

How do you make a convincing fake Lookout will?

Unless you've been forced to claim and provide your will, you can always go back and retroactively doctor your "lookout results" to include visits to or from people who are dead. This works even better if your voting manages to align properly. I.e. "I knew he was actually sheriff so I voted guilty, since I saw him visit this mafia guy".

Any suggestions on how to make a fake Lookout will so that by Day 5 I have a maximum of 3 NV? 4 NV is pushing it. You seem to think it's not too hard.

Pay attention? Every game is different but there are tons of social ques for visits, docs ect. also if you cannot and have not already claimed, keep another will.

I didn't say it wasn't "not too hard" I just said it is alot better then just guessing roles and being wrong.
