Blackmailer should prevent targets from voting
For the last 6 games as blackmailer, everytime i blackmailed someone they just spammed the vote aginst me or aginst someone else (if they dont know who bm'd) to signal they've been bm'd, it should be so bm'd targets cannot vote

From what I believe, this is so.ething they want to implement after the unity comes out, I could be wrong though even if they aren't planning for people to be unable to vote once bmed, enough people will agree for it to be changed :p

This is a really good idea, because black mailing people like the mayor can be pretty useless, since they just need to vote with town.

But I had one funny game where:

The mayor got bmed and did the voting thing but because there was so little town and people they actually voted this guy up, so the town tought it was VFR and said CLAIM CLAIM, but this other guy didn't know what to claim so they lynched him and he was the bmer, The mayor had no idea.

Blackmailer is already the most annoying role in the game.

Then whats the point of blackmailing a person if theyre basically saying "this person BM'd me" through means of public voting? Needs buff.

Yeah it's dumb, the point of bmer is that you aren't supposed to know if some1 is bmed unless they get up to the stand. They need to make it so blackmailed targets have some kind of vote restriction tbh =/

it would be stupid if they can take out 2 townies votes that break the balance
bm a mayor could even take out 4 townies votes

what they could do is

make the vote invisible and only show who voted what after the voting time is up

If they instantly know the bmer means you're just bad.

From my experience they just spam anyone who's sus, not technically the bmer. Still dumb af that you can basically declare that you're blackmailed with it when the whole point of it is to be un-noticeable unless someone gets up to the stand.

And how does that affect you again?

Because it shows that they've been blackmailed by signaling in the public, the exact opposite of what blackmailing is for. How is that not obvious? Did you buy that account?

Yeah you're not supposed to know if some1 is bmed, that means they have important info usually and sometimes a jailor will even jail them to block the next night's bm to get info from them...

I don't know about anyone else but BM preventing voting sounds overpowered to me with the way voting works.

They cannot chat anyway and their ability to signal will remain useless most of the time as it doesn't provide additional info. If they couldn't vote IT WOULD STILL BE OBVIOUS THEY WERE BLACKMAILED.
Speaking of accounts I can't see you playing tos on steam anyway, why are you here again?

And where did that come from?
Devs nowhere have stated people shouldn't know someone was blackmailed. Cool story.
Besides, when someone just doesn't chat nor vote IT'S STILL OBVIOUS THEY WERE BMED.
