Mafia killing witches for no reason is why they game throw so often.
It was ranked practice, Classic seems to have friendlier people.
Maybe we stop calling roles for gamethrowing and acknowledge it is PEOPLE who game-throw and backstab. People who could just as likely be any role the next game. Mafia is already enough of an autolose team without the baggage from the neutrals of what 3 completely unrelated people decided to do last game.
The jerk who threw you under the bus last game, is just as likely if not more likely to be town this game than mafia.
Attempt to work with the people who are supposed to be on your team, only trash the neutrals when it is clear they are working against you, or when the only reasonable option is to throw them over, but don't hold a grudge over someone who isn't even in the current game (and if that person is, isn't likely on the same side he/she was last game).
as a witch, if i find a vampire, im going to use the vamp to kill off the mafia (dont have to worry about vamps killing me as a witch, unlike mafia)
basically, if i find any other evil role, i will help thrm over mafia, because those roles are harder to win as. i'm also getting revenge for all those times i found a mafioso, told them "i'll leave you alone" and was killed for my trouble.
Well it's not enough evidence, I would say it is more likely than not the witch knew the mafioso, or one of the BMers etc... and someone within town, and was intentionally setting up the mafia's loss. (IE got the names of all the mafia over skype from one player on mafia's side, then intentionally manuevered the GF into the rest of the mafia)
But that isn't convictable unless the witch player actually admitted so in chat
EDIT: Plus a witch can help to kill mafia if the witch wants to win with the nk. No matter what its not gamethrowing, whether intentional or not!
i played a game recently as a witch. n1 i found a vampire and made him hit a mafia. the next 3 bites, he hit mafia. bite 4 was a townie, and i made that guy bite the last mafia.
it was then down to one town, one arso, and my two vamps. they hung arso, and i forced the last bite to win with the vamps.
i only found one mafia member in my off-bite nights, every other hit was dumb luck or scumreading.
