What are the Silver Coins?

Hey, i havent played this game in a long time, and i only get these silver coins. No golden coins.
I currently Have 725 Golden Coins and wanted to buy a House for 780, but i dont get Golden Coins :/

Is there ANY way to get golden coins? And What are these Silver Coins?

The only way to get gold coins is to buy them. They gotta earn money you know?

Town points (gold) became luxury currency (cash-only). No other way to gain unless you pay for it.
Merit points (silver) common currency.

In short, gold coins (town points) are cash purchases now, silver coins (merit points) are what you get for playing the game and getting achievements.

In general most items are available for merit points, usually only the newest things are locked off where you need town points.

as far as what to do with the 725 TP you got... maybe play cauldron every day, buy a house potion at the end of it... in theory that should get you a house for a lot less than 780, though not guaranteed to be the one you want.
