I don't really know why this happens. I receive low framerates as well, but I don't really care because this game does not need a constant 60fps.

The game's animations probably run at that rate, ie. 15-20 frames per animation per second. I've noticed as low as 3 in the lobby where there's no need for the screen to be refreshed any faster. There's nothing you can do since there's no need to - it doesn't matter how great your PC is.

Paladins is a completely different game. There is absolutely no comparison to be made there in regards to FPS.

See, the game also has INCREDIBLY low reaction time. Around 3 seconds will pass from the actual animation, to the animation's sound. And because of that 3 sec delay if you want to type something when you have little time left, you're out of luck. I am pretty sure that low fps is what causes it.

Flashplayer insead of c++/SDL2 port.
i7 4790k + gtx 980 16GB DDR3 runs at ~20-30 fps.

Something isn't right with your system at all if the animations and sounds are 3 seconds out of sync. That does not happen to me, and I can successfully switch to an Abstain within 2 seconds of the timer. FPS has absolutely nothing to do with sound. Try uninstalling the game and Adobe Air. Reinstall.

Why take the time to create two completely different branches that need to be maintained when Flash (and its Adobe derivatives) are both browser and desktop compatible?
