Your laptop really can't handle ToS? Well my only suggestion is to either play on a browser, or give ToS priority by pushing CTRL+ALT+DEL, going to Task manager, right clicking ToS, choose go to details, and change priority to Above Normal or High. Do not in ANY circumstance change it to Realtime priority. This will ultikmately destroy your computer, forcing a reboot or battery removal.

time to educate you.

the browser version and the standalone are 100% the same program. the thing with the browser version is that it runs from inside your browser, which in turn takes up far more resources than simply running the standalone.

i also wouldent screw around with priorities unless you actually know what it is you are doing. it's not just setting a flash application to realtime that can screw up your machine.

The browser version is the same program in a different environment, which occasionally works in a better way, and priorities are the only way to achieve what he is needing. Going over Above Normal never has any repercussions.

environments, nothing. more resources is more resources. browser + flash is always more resources than flash alone.
