About fullscreen, did you try going in and out of fullscreen once or twice (in the main menu or pause menu)?
It sometimes takes a second try (not quite sure why myself).
If this does not help, could you let me know whether you are starting the game in fullscreen, and whether you are using 'proper' or borderless-window mode?
On the unlock thing, are you sure you got x30 in a single combo?
Just accumulating x30 as overall score multiplier is not enough, you have to get it during a single combo (which is not easy).
Sorry to hear borderless window fullscreen is broken for you.
Have you tried what I suggested above, toggling it on and off a few times?
If that does not help can you tell me whether you are starting the game in fullscreen, or just toggle it after starting it in window mode.
Also, can you tell me whether changing that setting changes anything?
Does not change anything. Fullscreen will cover two thirds of the screen, regardless of the starting mode.
In the meantime, could you try turning OFF borderless fullscreen, and explicitly setting your resolution in the settings (instead of leaving it on 'native') and see if that helps at all?
If not, does the resolution-setting do anything at all if you set it to different values (careful, it may work, so it might change your desktop resolution)?
One thing that I was able to do is make the fullscreen game be LARGER than the screen by setting windows DPI scaling settings to larger than 100%.
This may be related, but if so, that means you would have a scaling of less than 100% which is not even officially supported by windows.
Can you let me know what version of Windows you are running, and if you have have other than 100% scaling?
(I could imagine with a high resolution screen like that you would want to increase the size of things, to not have tiny text.)
On Windows 8.1 the scaling can be found at "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display", not sure about other versions.
If you are interested, here is a technical discussion that got us to think in this direction:
https://github.com/opentk/opentk/issues/47
I will also see about writing a small program to test the behaviour of the window and give some output that might help us figure out what is going on.
I'll post again if I can figure that out.
Thanks for your patience!
I found another thing though. If this is a DPI scaling issue, there is a way to tell Windows to not apply scaling to specific programs.
Could you:
1. go to "your steamfolder/steamapps/common/Roche Fusion"
2. go to properties of rochefusion.exe (right click -> properties)
3. go to the compatibility tab
4. check the "don't use DPI scaling" check box
5. close window with OK to save setting
6. try run Roche Fusion through Steam, see if anything is different?
Here is also a screenshot of the checkbox I am talking about:

I hope this will help.
Either way, I will continue to investigate and try to make this work for everybody right out of the box (our right out of the Steampipe I suppose)!
It runs in my native resolution of 2560x1440 in borderless fullscreen and the Windows desktop resolution remains unchanged, excellent job, thank you very much.
While I will try to still fix this from our side, at least we now know what to tell people that have the same problem. :)
toggling the fullscreen mode a few times did nothing.
changing the properties of roche fusion.exe to ignore dpi did not work, but changing windows scaling back to 100 from 125% did... im sad now though because my window desktop icons are too small...
any others ideas if you have time..
dont know if it helps but im running
win 8.1
1920x1080
hdmi from radeon 6800
I'm sorry that none of the things really work.
I don't have any other ideas right now, but I will continue to look into this and let you know what I find out!
like i said changing windows scaling to 100% worked but i cannot run my computer at 100% everything is too small.... changing this option everytime i play is way too hard...
let me know if you work anything out
cheers, remmy
Same here. I play on my television, and everything is too small with the scaling at 100%. Any solution to this would be appreciated.
