x360 controller

Hi, what about usage of xbox360 controller on pc? The game doesn't recognize it at the moment. But it's supported ? In the setting menu, I can see that game let to configure controller buttons, but nothing happens when I try to use it in game action.

Hey there!

Xbox 360 controllers should work just fine. Several people have been playing with it without problems the last few versions.

I recommend going to the options menu and just try to rebind all the controls for your controller to make sure the controls are linked to the right controller. If your controller is not detected when rebinding controls, then please let us know, but using an official Xbox 360 controller should just work fine.

Also make sure to have the controller connected before starting the game.

This game has some weird joypad detection. Fisrt of all, I have two xbox 360 controllers myself. The game has set by default a "PAD1" in the bindings menu, which does not work. I can rebind it however and the game sees it as "PAD3" (?). After that , the joypad works fine UNLESS:
1) I plug it to another USB port and restart game
2) I plug another USB device (e.g. headphones) and restart the game
In above cases, the joypad needs rebinding again, since the game sees it as "PAD+other number". This is the only game I have, that shows that behavior, so it cannot be my PC's fault.

Hi iaspis,

I have indeed observed that behaviour myself before. We are depending on a third party framework to interface with game controller, so I assume that is where the problem lies, but I will add it to my list to take a look at this, maybe we can find a workaround to improve this behaviour.
