I've finished the game, but still unanswered questions..
Spoilers, only answer if you've completed the game!

* = solved

1*) Pay attention to 3:52 in the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYH8chZeiKs
Has anyone discovered what this is for or how to access it? Was it left out of the game?
Really curious about this.

2) Also 1:21 here www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3dQQeK9qxM .. what's the second "parking" space for?

3*) Also, in the place with the red, blue and green button switches (where you have to push the fuzzy block) there is a tube in the ceiling, which is never used as far as I know. What purpose does it serve???

4) Also, why does the ant say "bully" ... does it mean anything?

5*) I admit I've cheated on the robot puzzle by looking it up online, I still don't understand what the clues are for it? Why would you randomly build one of the robots on the wall (the second one from the left in particular)..?

The tube and the seeming dead end are related.

spoiler have beak beak press the button at the end of the flying cave in the lower area of that tower, then go stand under the tube in the green room for a few seconds

the bully ant seems to just be for fun

the second parking spot... I don't know, and I don't know anyone who has come forward with a use for it yet. It might just be leftover from development redesigns.

So 1) and 3) are related? I've tried going into the cave with beak-beak and pressing the small red button in the larger cave that results in a 'fan' sound. I went down to the green room with the tube and waited under it, nothing happens. Do you need to stand on the fuzzy thing?

hnnnn, if you pushed that button, and then went and stood under the tube, it should activate. You must push the button first before going back and standing under the tube, but yea, 1 and 3 are related.

I got it to work! But then I wonder.. why does this exist......?

For the heck of it, mostly. For fun.

The robot puzzle is easy. One of the robots, drawn on the wall wich you can see out of the window, is the correct variant. The rest of the robots have parts that are not drawn in the puzzle's barrels.

Guys, since this is a spoiler/secret thread:

Are there any more places like the first room where you can look outside the window and actually have something funny to watch?

I've tried some spots (like there's a window in the room right of the observatory where you get lever to lower the accordion building, or some shelves with visible skylines) but found nothing. A single window in the whole game? :/

(Yeah, there's the hot rod and I took it to the ledge with unicycle birds, still couldn't make them perform any tricks ;))

It would be pretty cool if they had added more flavor stuff to the world like that. I mean, the window in the first room is one of the sadly few things that I genuinely enjoyed and was happy to see in the game.

I also missed those moments where you gain a first person perspective on the actual world (other than the puzzles). Shame
davetrowe Oct 4, 2015 @ 7:22pm
The first person segments I do not blame them for. The rig they had to set up last time, and the size of the sets, must've been expensive and difficult. They could have done a myst-style slideshow type navigation, perhaps.

I was talking about the views from the windows as stills taken by a DSLR. Not the actual first person movement. In The Neverhood there were plenty of windows that you could look out from. Understandable, they might not have had the resources to make as many animations as they wanted, but stills would add a ton to immersion with a cheap pricetag so to speak.

Hn, true, yea, they could have done that fairly cheaply.
