Time to See the Fame Scores

No. We just usually try to figure out what the highest fame score possible is.

The Fame score we're referring to is the number of stars in your inventory listing, not the renowned number in the achievements. These are the stars you earn during game play (and sometimes after the end of the game). They can be affected by honesty, going the extra mile, finding a secret something to do, etc. for instance, in the first game, if you robbed all 3 crypts, you lost 15 points, but if you robbed only one (which you needed to get your last treasure) you lost only 5 points, so your fame points might be different from others. Hope this helps.

But isn’t this the only example? Moral choices would make no sense in the series, as long as our Hero, while helping lazy beggars, all the same time robs locked chests of the respectable townfolk who work hard for their living.

Actually, it's not. In Lost Tales 1, I think it was (the tale with the dragon) you have the opportunity to steal two times from the mayor's basement. But you should only steal once, in order to get the oil you need for a trade, not the steal that gets you the treasure item.

Ah of course, again i meant some other ‘sense’ than min-maxing fame counter.

Sorry, I tend to be a bit literal. No, I don't believe there is a morality voice in the game. But I must admit, I truly dote on the little goodies. It's one of the really fun things I love about these games - the little surprises, like repairing the farm, sleeping in the bad guys camp, etc.
