Taking pills
the game keeps telling me to take pills, but when i press 3 to equip the pillbox i can't seem to take any, i thought it was LMB but that didnt work.
so how do you take these pills, and what do they do exactly?

Press 'F' to use the item equipped in the left hand.

The pills makes you less insane. Pro tip: take more than one at a time :)
