Accuracy compared to irl Akihabara?

How accurate is Akihabara in this game? I know the stores are real, I'm thinking more about the layout and streets of the district. How close to reality is it replicated?
I'm going to Tokyo in fall 2017, that's been my lifelong dream:) Could I use this game as a 'map' in Akiba?
Lol, of course I won't actually use it as a map, but i will enjoy the game a lot more if i know it's close to reality

Main roads and some areas are very similar. Some of the buildings have changed since the game was made though (mostly along the side street type areas).

I've been there twice. As far as a tourist's experience goes, amazingly accurate. More accurate than any other real life based video game setting I can think of.

I go almost every year, and its pretty accurate, i can navigate tru the game almost without the use of the map.
