It's a brawler, not really a JRPG, It's pretty fun. I'd say it's worth it. If you can get past the cringey voice acting and waifu oriented stuff inside is a solid brawling game.

It's more of an action game with some light rpg, reminded me a little bit of the Yakuza or Way of The Samurai games but with simpler combat. I purchased it shortly after it released and I was very happy with the game.

Well, it's fun. But you need to take care it is of a specific genre. In no way it's JRPG, it's just a VN-like brawler with a small amount of set events and few choices plus something like a fashion shop: you can use obtained clothes to outfit yourself. Most time you just fighta-fighta-fighta-fighta-fighta-fighta and enjoy it though.

For the plot... it's totally dumb, but has its own fun little quirks. Don't forget about side missions.

I think it's worth $14. GFX and NPC abundance is not bad altogether.

For what it's worth, I have the PS3 game and love it. Stripping people is silly fun (and not at all sexualized which is nice), and the environments are excellently rendered. I do wish the city was persistent a la pretty much every other open world game out there (the city is divided into connecting "rooms"), and the combat engine could definitely be better, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the game.
