Land scaping stakes and rope

*gonna cross post this with the main forums cause I'd like an answer with this*

Is there a way to reclaim rope when using the landscape stakes? Reason I ask is because when flatting some land last night, I tried pulling up the rope first thinking it would reclaim it, but it just used them up. Rope is the one item I'm having a REALLY hard time actually getting, because flax seems to be really rare and hard to get in my save. I've tried growing it, but even then, I can only make very limited amounts of it.

I feel that having them being used up and consumed is kinda....dumb really. It really should be a thing where the rope has a wear and tear mechanic like the tools do when using them like that, or at least just be able to use them more than once.

So yeah....a little annoyed by that....

this works by design.
Once you get enough of flax, you can easily farm them and keep the count of em growing over time.
