Cause nothing changed on the Official Wiki :
"Clay has no variations and is almost always located underground. Underground layers can be located by digging beneath grasses."

We really need some freaking Patchnotes, this is getting ridiculous.
All good on my side but it is the reason why a game is in early access = to find all problem in diffrent PCs
I'm playing non stop since the update, fixing and updating my WS items, also found the secret solution for the "Flintstones" like Cart, well not just that > I gained XP by testing the new Blueprint table in survival = Having a lot of fun atm :)
Important to know
The best way to know more about what is going on with the fixing on bugs => is to use their new support website.
We know what is going on over there cause we get Dev replies.
Tho I going in game right now and I will double check to see if it's bugged, be back later ...
Sometimes the clay is only a few feet under the dirt, but now and again you get a spot where it's a little deeper. In dim light it can also be hard to tell if it's dirt or clay you are digging. But if you've dug down more than a block in more than three grassy (or palm forest. My base is in a palm forest and it's all clay underneath too) spots and still not found any, then yeah, I'd say there is some weird bug. Save your game, open a new 'creative' mode game and see if you can find clay using the voxel hand to swipe away earth in giant chunks. That'll give you some clues. You can fly in creative mode, go to the exact place you are currently trying to find clay, and look for it, wrecking the landscape with impunity until you find some, then go back to your saved game and dig wherever you found it.
Then, if you seriously have no clay on your current game, send a bug report to KEEN, that's a big bug they'll want to know about. These STEAM forums are not best way to let KEEN know.

Share the exact area Map you are trying but make sure the grass is green.
